Regulatory Framework

Bioactive Labs operates within the United Kingdom's regulatory framework for research chemicals and peptide compounds. This page sets out the key regulatory considerations relevant to our products and to purchasers.

Research Use Only

All products sold by Bioactive Labs are intended solely for in vitro scientific research by qualified researchers. None of our products are approved for human or veterinary use, nor are they medicinal products. They are not manufactured to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards for clinical use.

UK Regulations

Our operations are conducted in compliance with applicable UK law. We do not supply any compound listed as a controlled substance under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. We do not supply psychoactive substances and peptides are not subject to the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016. Our products are not licensed medicinal products under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012. We comply with applicable consumer protection legislation under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Purchaser Responsibilities

By placing an order, you confirm that you are a qualified researcher aged 18 or over, you will use all products only for lawful in vitro research purposes, you have verified that import and possession of the ordered compounds is lawful in your jurisdiction, and you accept full responsibility for compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

International Customers

The regulatory status of research peptides varies by country. It is your responsibility to confirm that importing and possessing the compounds you order is legal in your jurisdiction. We cannot be held liable for orders seized by customs or regulatory authorities in your country.

Third-Party Testing

All compounds sold by Bioactive Labs are tested by independent, accredited UK laboratories. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available for every batch. Contact us to request a COA for any product.
